DE-Trans, LLC recruits, trains, and supports Residential Sponsors so adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities can live where they are known by name.
Our mission
Every person deserves a home, not a placement
We exist to connect adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to committed households across Virginia — and to make sure those households never feel like they are doing it alone.
DE-Trans grew out of years of front-line work in Virginia's disability services system. We saw the same pattern again and again: caring people willing to open their homes, and a process that overwhelmed them before they ever started. So we built an agency around the sponsor — thorough screening and training up front, then real support behind them every day after.

Serving the Commonwealth of Virginia
We recruit and support sponsors statewide — from the Richmond metro and Tri-Cities to Hampton Roads, Northern Virginia, the Shenandoah Valley, and Southside. If you live in Virginia and have a safe, stable home, we would like to talk with you.
We coordinate closely with Community Services Boards, support coordinators, and DBHDS standards so placements are appropriate, compliant, and lasting.
